Following our philosophy of keeping things as simple as possible while getting the job done is our line of single-color flexographic printers. Your logo or company name is easily transferred on the outside or inside of the core as the paper ply is pulled by the winder through a comprehensive series of precision machined rolls and drums. Four models are available depending on ply size with our Model 6500 (6″ capacity) the most common.
GPA Glue Pot
Simple to use and economical the GPA gluepot is designed for applying any cold set adhesive to plies up to 6″ in width. Clean up is simple as the entire GPA is made of stainless steel and aluminum corrosion-proof materials. Just soak the entire GPA in a water-filled utility tub.
With a capacity of up to 17 paper plies, the Rockport immersion system is typically used in the production of large diameter and/or heavy wall tubes. Ply handling racks are movable so the operator does not have to reach into the adhesive when threading additional plies. Use with a cold set or hot melt glues when equipped with the heated tank option. Generous use of stainless steel and Ni-plated components for easy cleanup and corrosion resistance.
Ply capacity from 5 to 15 plies make the Rockport cascade glue applicator a flexible and especially easy to use system. A diaphragm pump delivers the adhesive to the top discharge nozzles, each with an adjustable flow rate. True to name the adhesive cascades onto lower plies as the metering bars remove excess adhesive. FInal scraper bars establish the final adhesive thickness desired. Like the immersion system, the cascade features generous use of stainless steel and Ni-plated components.
Our straightforward stand is a heavy weldment designed to handle (2) rolls up to 60″ in diameter. Additional axels (optional) may be added when using smaller roll stock to increase stand capacity. Multiple stands easily bolt together and accept attachments for Rockport Glue Pots and tallow blocks. Rockport paperstands are durable yet practical.
The Rockport Model 200 Dust and Trim Collector is designed specifically for working with Rockport Drum Cutters. This optional equipment is supplied complete with all special connection components for the Drum Cutter. Powered by a 5 hp motor producing air velocity in the 850-1,000 CFM, dust and trim pieces are extracted from the working machinery and deposited into a 50-gallon steel drum (supplied) for easy disposal. Dust separation is accomplished using nine cartridge filters with an automatic, reverse-pulse cleaning cycle.
